Themed pumpkin carving vignettes can also be created for display.

•Large, themed display pieces/photo-ops  carved out of pumpkins for your event. Made on site.

•Pumpkin carving lessons/classes. (Think “Paint and Sip” nights, but with pumpkins)  Virtual or in person.

•Custom pumpkins for your social media campaigns/promotions. Can be filmed/photographed on location or sent virtually

What do you specialize in?

Carved 3D pumpkin characters, including but not limited to:  Disney, Pixar, superheroes, and other various expressive faces.

Large themed displays/photo-ops  or life-sized characters made from pumpkin.

Themed vignettes made with carved pumpkin characters. Can be set up to set up to tell a story or be interactive with guests.

What are the rates of your services?

Because services are customized to each individual and event, rates can vary. But I am very willing to work with your budget. Please contact us via the form above for more info and specific options and rates for your event.

How long does it take you to carve a pumpkin?

Generally 4-6 hours, respectively.  Hours can increase to 7-11 hours for custom pieces when attempting likenesses or when there is a high amount of detail or complexity in a subject. Since this style of pumpkin carving is subtractive (very similar to wood carving), it involves carefully scraping away at the material little by little until the desired result is achieved. (Technically pumpkins can be sculpted in a shorter amount of time, but the quality of work may go down. I’m all about the quality over quantity!)

When inquiring about events, most event coordinators want to know how many pumpkins will be carved in a given day at their event and how many hours per day they should plan on having me carve.  Short answer is: If it’s just me, 1-2 pumpkins per day. (Trust me, I wish it was quicker too! I’d have a lot more pumpkins in my portfolio. But as they say, it’s a labor of love.)  Plus, I find that guests often enjoy asking questions during the process, and though I am more than happy to engage with the crowd (and because I do like to give people my full attention when answering questions), it can take away time from the carving process. But if I have a team of 2-3 people, we can give you more quantity if that’s what you’re looking for. As far as carving duration – whether your event is 3 hours or 10 hours long, if you want me to carve the whole day – I’m up for it!

Is it just you that carves? Or do you have a team?

I often carve pumpkins solo on location, but when necessary I can gather a team of some of the best pumpkin sculptors in the world to create some crazy amazing display pieces.

Are you willing to travel to carve pumpkins at my event?

Absolutely!

What do you do with the pumpkins at the end of carving for an event?

All pumpkins that I carve on site for an event or individual become the property of the event/individual and they are free to do whatever they wish with their sculpted pumpkins – keep them, give them away, auction them off, or cut off the top and scrape out the guts and use it as a popcorn bowl – I don’t judge! The sky is the limit!

All supplies and props originally supplied/purchased by me are retained by me unless otherwise stipulated via contract.
