Who is Brandy Davis?

Contrary to popular belief, Brandy Davis, otherwise known as The Pumpkin Artist, grew up in central California carving pumpkins just like everyone else – with the triangle eyes and nose and usually on Halloween. Although, rumor has it she tried for a few years to get carved pumpkins to go mainstream for Christmas, using them as gifts stuffed with leftover Halloween candy, however that’s still unverified.

Even though she grew up always loving and pursing art, she never imagined in her wildest dreams that she would grow up to be professionally sculpting pumpkins, the 2018 Guinness World Record Holder for the Largest Jack-O’-Lantern ever carved (2,011lbs!), and competing on Food Network shows like Halloween Wars and Outrageous Pumpkins, let alone writing and creating a children’s Halloween book: The Peculiar Book of Pumpkin Poetry.

She still regrets not finding out about the awesome art of 3D pumpkin carving sooner – like that first time she tried a maple-bacon donut and thought, “Where have you been all my life?” So today Brandy is now making up for lost time and continues to carve her 3D pumpkins for various prestigious venues and companies all over the continental U.S., gathering her wide-spread praise and acclaim for her talent. One day she hopes to spread her pumpkin carving joy all over the world. In the meantime, she will not rest until she is able to bring smiles (and an abundance of pumpkin carving tools) to everyone who has ever needed a surge of fun, magic, and inspiration in their lives.
